AFFS is a not-for-profit organisation. However, we do need funds to continue our free speech work much of which involves detailed research, chasing Freedom of Information requests, monitoring university websites, corresponding with university management teams and following up on whistleblower information that gets sent to us from time to time about specific issues. We will spend your money carefully.

Use of funds donated
DAFSC Ltd (as proprietor of AFFS and of Best Free Speech Practice) will use all funds given to it through this website and our Donate function to pay for AFFS and Best Free Speech Practice's work as described in this website, namely campaigning for free speech at higher education institutions, and providing quality information about the legal requirements for free speech protection and their imlications in practice. This will include paying for staff and support, media and technology, advertising, promotion, relationships and fundraising, producing and commissioning legal and survey studies, other third party services and general running costs. DAFSC Ltd is a not-for-profit and any surplus from time to time may be given to other free speech causes.
