Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Freedom of Speech lecture

In this, the centenary year of the Reith Lectures, this year based on Franklin D Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms speech of 1941, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has given the first lecture, the subject of which is Freedom of Speech.

In her inspiring lecture, Chimamanda discusses cancel culture, the recent assault on Salmon Rushdie and the increasing prevalence of social censure and self-censorship in today’s society.  Please follow the link here if you would like to listen to the full lecture.
